EWA - European Woodwind Association

Connecting Europe’s woodwind community through music, education, innovation and sustainability.

WHY EWA?

Each instrument has its own voice. Together, we can open new possibilities.

We are creating a European association that brings together flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone players of all ages and backgrounds. A place for students, teachers, professionals and amateurs to share ideas, learn from one another and shape an inclusive, sustainable future for woodwind music, with care for our community and the world around us.

WHAT WE WANT TO EXPLORE

EWA

Connection

Build meaningful relationships across instruments, countries and generations. Share experiences, exchange ideas and find opportunities to make music, learn and create together as part of Europe’s woodwind community.

Education

Share knowledge and create learning opportunities for all ages and levels. Explore innovative teaching methods, develop new educational resources and inspire lifelong curiosity through music.

Sustainability

Build a lasting future for woodwind music by supporting long-term careers, sharing knowledge across generations and strengthening our community.

Wellness

Support the physical and mental wellbeing of woodwind players at every stage, sharing knowledge and encouraging healthy practice habits, confidence and a balanced musical life.

We’re just getting started!

EWA is an initiative in development, working towards becoming a European woodwind association. Our website is growing too.
