WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
When you contact us or express an interest in joining EWA’s founding team, we may collect:
• Your name and email address.
• Your country or place of residence.
• Your instrument, studies and professional experience.
• Your CV and any relevant links or documents you provide.
• The information you include in your correspondence.
Please only provide information relevant to your enquiry or application. Do not send identity documents, financial details or sensitive information such as health data.
HOW AND WHY DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
We use your information to:
• Respond to enquiries about EWA.
• Review expressions of interest in the founding team.
• Communicate with applicants about their potential involvement.
• Organise discussions and next steps with prospective collaborators.
• Meet any applicable legal obligations.
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to correspondence and organising EWA’s founding process, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. These interests are balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations. You may object to this processing.
Where processing is necessary to meet a legal obligation, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
If we request your consent for a separate purpose, we will explain that purpose and you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Contacting us or submitting a CV does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.
IS PROVIDING YOUR DATA REQUIRED?
Providing your information is voluntary. However, without sufficient contact details and relevant information, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry or consider your application.
The founding-team invitation is intended for people aged 18 or over.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to respond and manage any related follow-up.
We retain application documents for the duration of the founding-team process and for up to six months after your application has been concluded. If we wish to retain your CV for future opportunities beyond that period, we will ask for your consent.
Where you become actively involved in the initiative, information needed to manage that involvement will be retained for its duration.
Information may be retained for longer where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Access will be restricted where required by law.
WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR DATA?
Access is limited to people authorised by Creaio S.L. who need the information to respond to enquiries or manage the founding process and who are subject to confidentiality obligations.
Service providers supporting our website, email and document storage may process information on our behalf under appropriate data protection arrangements.
We do not sell your personal data or publish your CV. We may disclose information where required by law.
Your application documents will not automatically be transferred to the future EWA association. Before any such transfer, we will explain the arrangements and establish an appropriate legal basis.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, you may request:
• Access to your personal data.
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Erasure of your data.
• Restriction of processing.
• Data portability where applicable.
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email info@creaio.eu. We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
